The effect of nano- and microfillers on thermal properties of Polyurethane foam

چکیده
Polyurethane is one of the polymers used in recent years for production thermal insulators. The aim present study was to optimize heat transfer polyurethane foam using clay nanoparticles and microparticles from polypropylene waste central composite design response surface methodology with help Design-Expert V.11 software. For this purpose, effect three independent variables thickness (0.5–1.5 cm), amount (0–2%), wastage (0–2%) investigated. A 2-factor model (2FI) presented correlation between maximum reduction under optimal conditions. Thermal insulation properties were determined a flow meter according standard method American Society Testing Materials C518-17. Morphological produced composites SEM image analysis MATLAB results showed that 1 cm, containing 2% nanoclay 1% polypropylene, 1.25 1.5% 0.045 conductivity have best performance terms 22–26% better than pure foam. With increase percentage nanoclay, decreased. fillers could be enhance properties.
